Production Supervisor-Second Shift

Supervise shift personnel: Packers (QSD JD 012)Shipping/Receiving Clerk (QMS JD 011)Material Handler (QMS JD 005)Pouch Machine Operators (QMS JD 006)Printer/Slitter Operators (QMS JD 008)Ensure that product manufactured meets specifications, on time, and within budgetProduction planning and machine schedulingInventory control of raw materials and finished goodsTrain new and current employeesMonitor in-process Quality ControlMachine set-up and operationOther duties as assignedQualificationsSkills and Experience Required: Good human relation and supervisory skills2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Basic mechanical aptitude.Microsoft Excel, Word, Access or other database applications.Intermediate math skills.Capable of standing 8-10 hours daily.Able to lift and carry 60 lbs. or more.English language skills (written and spoken).Able to visually recognize colors and particulate as small as 0.8 sq. mm. Successfully complete the following training: HRP100 - Employee Handbook Training.NWB0044 - New Employee Training.FL0024 - Forklift Certification.LO0026 - Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures.PO002 - Basic Pouch making.PO0003 - PO0012 All Pouch machines set-up and operation. CU0020 - CU0023 Basic cutting, Guillotine and Kluge set-up and operation. Education Required:High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
