Production SupervisorLocation: Faribault, MN (Onsite)Department: ProductionPosition OverviewThe Production Supervisor is responsible for managing a designated shift within the production department. This role oversees daily operations, including product quality, safety, productivity, and team performance, while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing experience who can drive performance, support continuous improvement, and maintain a safe, high-quality production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate daily production activities for assigned shiftEnsure product quality and integrity while meeting production targetsPartner with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety and quality standardsMonitor and report key performance metrics including productivity, downtime, and qualityEnforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and HACCP standardsManage labor, materials, and waste to support cost control initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunitiesTrain, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and skillsParticipate in hiring, performance management, and employee developmentMaintain accurate production and timekeeping recordsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, QA, Sanitation, and HRSupport product launches and development test runsMaintain audit readiness and high housekeeping standardsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong communication skills across all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Management or related fieldExperience in food or beverage manufacturingExperience with continuous improvement initiativesWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods (10–12 hours)Ability to lift and carry 25+ poundsAbility to work flexible shifts as neededExposure to manufacturing/production environment conditionsIdeal CandidateHands-on leader with a strong work ethicDetail-oriented and safety-focusedStrong communicator and team builderComfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
