Sr Performance Test Engineer

Job DescriptionSr. Performance Test Engineer – Healthcare: 9+ years QA experience with 7+ years in Performance testingKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute performance testing strategies (load, stress, endurance, spike testing) for healthcare applications.Analyze system performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve application scalability, stability, and responsiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Developers, and Product Owners to identify performance bottlenecks early in the SDLC.Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend solutions across application, database, and infrastructure layers.Monitor and analyze system behavior using tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or New Relic.Lead performance tuning efforts involving application servers, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for healthcare applications.Mentor junior performance engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering.Drive shift-left performance testing and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.Strong experience in healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, claims processing, payer/provider systems).Expertise in performance testing tools such as:LoadRunnerJMeter NeoLoadStrong knowledge of protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP,Trueclient Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, PerfMon, ).Solid understanding of database performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms ( Azure).Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsQualificationsBachelor and aboveRange Of Year Experience-Min Year9Range Of Year Experience-Max Year12
