Machine Operator / Machine Setup Technician – 3rd Shift (Roll‑Fed)Penmac Staffing is hiring an experienced Machine Operator / Machine Setup Technician for the roll‑fed side of a manufacturing operation in the Brainerd area. This full-time position is ideal for candidates who enjoy machine setup, troubleshooting, and hands-on production work in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $20+ per hour based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential Shift: 3rd shift-Sunday-Thursday 9:30pm-6am Job Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire Location: In personMachine Operator / Machine Setup Technician Responsibilities: Set up machines for production, including calibration, cleaning, and changeovers Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rates Load raw materials into roll-fed, semi-automated equipment Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Perform periodic machine checks to ensure proper operation Troubleshoot and correct machine or process issues during the shift Monitor finished products to identify defects or machine-related flaws Record production data, including approved and defective parts Maintain accurate activity and production logs Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment Perform other duties as assigned Requirements for the Machine Operator / Setup Technician: Proven experience as a machine operator or machine setup technician Working knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and operating manuals Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills Understanding of production processes and quality standards Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working on the production floor High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus Schedule & Work Details: Full-time, 40 hours per week 8-hour shifts Sunday-Thursday All shifts available, with current openings on 3rd shift If you are a dependable machine operator or setup technician looking for steady 3rd shift hours, competitive pay, and long-term opportunity, this role could be a great fit.
