Billing Clerk

DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Englewood, Colorado. In this role, you will play a key part in managing billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining financial records for our organization. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in billing systems and a strong understanding of financial processes. This role is a 8-11 week maternity leave coverage.Responsibilities:- Generate and distribute accurate billing statements to customers in a timely manner.- Manage billing collections and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure revenue targets are met.- Utilize Sage Intacct and other billing systems to process invoices and maintain financial records.- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and resolve customer inquiries.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all billing activities.- Support the financial team in analyzing billing data to improve efficiency and accuracy.- Implement best practices for billing processes within a SaaS model.- Monitor and update billing systems to reflect changes in customer accounts or services.- Maintain detailed documentation of billing transactions for audit purposes.- Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition.Requirements - Proven experience in billing functions, including invoicing and collections.- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and other financial software systems.- Strong knowledge of SaaS models and subscription-based billing processes.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies effectively.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
