Security Officer

Urbana Country Club is a private establishment located in Urbana, Illinois. This location offers Members private access to a golf course, resort, spa, gym, clubhouse, and more.Security Officer | Full and Part-Time Openings | Weekdays and Weekends Security Officers are dedicated security professionals with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a complex environment. Security Officers work as a team, patrolling the Club's property via vehicle and foot and/or ensuring security at a series of fixed locations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as well as Club regulations.Your Responsibilities:Conduct static security post/access control operationsProvide mobile security support as directed by security leadershipRespond to emergency situations (medical/fire/suspicious person, etc.)Execute roving patrols of assigned locationsMaintain a high level of professionalism and meet uniform and grooming standardsOperate security systems/software such as: CCTV, incident reports, access control/gates, etcRemain alert at all times in order to notify employees and others of possible threats or situations requiring immediate attentionProvide customer service to executive leadership, members/guests, and/or others as neededExecute club procedures to ensure the protection of people, property, and informationRequirementsBasic QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalency certificate4+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or corporate security.
