Process Engineer (Warehouse Management)

MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT). Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a Process Engineer (Warehouse Management).Designs and plans layout for warehouse automation and general warehousing best practices.Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for receiving, decanting, packing, and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort with an emphasis on automated solutions.Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as material movement times/efficiency, automation utilization and payback.Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring automated warehouse processing equipment.Required Experience:Bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering or businessNo less than 5 years’ experience using SAP Warehouse Management Software8 years’ experience automated end of line and logistical solutions8 years’ experience in warehouse operations8 years’ experience managing large scale automation projectsPreferred Experience:Experience with automation vendors like Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, KNAPP, SSI Schaefer
