This role is focused on high volume commercial and industrial propane applications. The successful candidate will identify businesses that rely on thermal processing, industrial heating, or LPG-powered equipment and provide consultative energy solutions that drive efficiency and reliability. Ideal candidates often come from industries such as propane distribution, industrial gases, cryogenics, welding supply, natural gas sales, fuel distribution, or industrial equipment sales. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on commercial and industrial propane gallon growthProspect and secure new high volume propane customers across the regionIdentify opportunities in industries such as: 1.Manufacturing and industrial processing 2.Metal fabrication and powder coating operations 3.Food processing and smokehouses 4.Agricultural processing and drying operations 5.Industrial gas and cylinder filling operations 6.Resorts, hospitality operations, and RV parks 7,Specialty thermal applications (kilns, ovens, crematories, etc.) Conduct site visits and facility evaluations to identify propane applicationsPresent propane solutions for industrial heating, process fuel, material handling, and other high consumption LPG usesBuild long term relationships with plant managers, facility managers, engineers, and business ownersCollaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth tank installation, supply logistics, and service deliveryMaintain an active pipeline and sales forecasting using CRM toolsRepresent McAdams Propane at industry events and regional networking opportunitiesThe absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position.Education, Certification, Licenses Required: High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in business or a related field preferred2–3 years of experience in B2B sales experience in propane, industrial gases, cryogenics, natural gas, welding supply, fuel distribution, or similar industrial marketsValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territorySkills & Abilities: Experience selling to commercial or industrial facilitiesStrong understanding of industrial fuel or thermal process applicationsProven ability to generate new business and grow account volumeStrong relationship building, negotiation, and communication skillsSelf starter comfortable managing a geographic territoryExperience using CRM tools, with Salesforce.com proficiency preferredProven ability to manage long sales cycles and build strategic client relationshipsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Physical, Mental, Behavioral Requirements: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
