What Will You Do?
Summary: Responsible for leading daily operations of the fabrication department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role supervises shop personnel, establishes priorities, drives continuous improvement, and ensures alignment with production schedules and company performance targets.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication activities
Assign work, set priorities, and monitor production schedules
Enforce safety programs and ensure PPE compliance
Maintain shop floor presence to ensure safe operations
Ensure products meet quality and engineering standards
Diagnose production issues and implement corrective actions
Drive continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
Recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
Lead, coach, and develop team members
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams

Working Conditions
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and indoor/outdoor conditions.
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and use of PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection.
Your Experience Should Be...
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Undergrad preferred
Experience: 3–5+ years in fabrication/manufacturing; with prior supervisory experience
Skills: Knowledge of fabrication processes, ability to read drawings, lean/5S experience, leadership and problem-solving skills
Computer skills: Office required
