Position Available: Dynatrace EngineerLocation: Mclean, VASalary: $130,000 – $160,000 + BenefitsExperience needed: Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including dashboard creation, APM, monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis within enterprise production environments.About the roleThis is a hands-on Dynatrace Engineer role focused on building dashboards, delivering actionable monitoring insights, and improving observability across complex enterprise systems.You'll be responsible for configuring and managing Dynatrace environments, supporting production monitoring, and working closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, and SRE teams to identify and resolve performance issues.The role will also involve creating executive-level reporting and dashboards that provide meaningful operational and business insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Dynatrace dashboards and management-level reportsConfigure and manage Dynatrace monitoring across applications, services, and infrastructureSupport proactive monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detectionPerform root cause analysis using Dynatrace AI and distributed tracing capabilitiesWork closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve performance and availability issuesDevelop dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for leadership teamsSupport incident management, production monitoring, and post-incident reviewsWhat we need from youStrong hands-on experience with the Dynatrace platformExperience creating dashboards, custom charts, and executive reportingStrong understanding of APM and application performance troubleshootingExperience with Smartscape, Data Explorer, Metrics, Logs, and EventsKnowledge of synthetic monitoring, alerting, and incident triageExperience deploying and configuring Dynatrace OneAgentsExposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience working within enterprise or highly available production environmentsIf you’d like to learn more or register your interest, hit apply as we’d love to hear from you!
