DescriptionSUMMARY:Stocks all bars with liquor, wine, beer, ice, water, soda, paper supplies, food to bars, and any bar supplies. Responsible for assisting the bartender in food to bar preparation, stocking out of bar and rotation of all bar products. Cleans bar area using proper authorized chemicals and cleaning agents to manufacturers guidelines. Maintains bar work areas and bar equipment and utensils in a clean and organized fashion.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner.Ability to upsell and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.Take beverage orders and inputs them into (POS) Point of Sale System.Retrieves order from the bar and ensure appropriate garnishes are added.Ability to transport tray of beverages through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift.Replenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guests to inquire about satisfaction.Removes empty or dirty glasses, bottles, ashtrays, and return them to bar.Compute bill and accepts payment and make change for transaction tendered.Must have knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards etiquette, and guest relations.Maintain a high level of sanitation at all times.Perform any general cleaning tasks using authorized, institutional labeled cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health and safety standards.Attend trainings, pre-shifts, and departmental meeting as scheduled.Assist in training and supporting of new employees.Perform additional duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED6 months previous food and beverage service experience required.Must have necessary training to recognize potentially intoxicated guest.Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Willing to work flexible work schedules including holidays, weekends, and nights.Must be 21 years old to apply.High School Diploma or equivalentLICENSE REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)Ability to lift 50 pounds.Ability to stand during entire shift.Constantly walking and standing.Constant hearing, seeing, and talking.Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping.WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.Close spaces while working with others.Excessive noise, smoke, and stress.NATIVE AMERICAN PREFERENCE STATEMENT
