This individual will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting software testing activities to ensure systems meet technical, functional, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. The role supports mission-critical software systems and works closely with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders to integrate testing throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software systems • Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing • Analyze test results, identify defects or vulnerabilities, and track issues through resolution • Ensure requirements traceability from system requirements to test cases • Document and report testing results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders • Support verification, validation, and acceptance testing activities • Collaborate with software developers and system engineers in Agile / DevSecOps environments • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity and software assurance standards
