Apartment Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified)

Job Description About the RoleMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.We are hiring EPA-certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians to support multiple multifamily communities across Pinellas County, including Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Largo, and surrounding areas. You will handle HVAC, general repairs, and unit turns to keep communities safe, comfortable, and move‐in ready.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair HVAC systems within your certification and property standards.Complete resident work orders for plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance.Perform unit turns and punch work: drywall patching, painting, caulking, hardware replacement, basic carpentry.Assist with preventative maintenance and safety inspections on building systems and equipment.Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies as needed.Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and accurate records of all work completed.Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and on-site team members.Qualifications2+ years of apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience (multifamily strongly preferred).Active EPA certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.Working knowledge of HVAC plus basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and ladders safely; able to lift [50] lbs and be on your feet most of the day.Reliable transportation to travel to communities throughout Pinellas County.Strong customer service skills, good attitude, and dependable work ethic.Company DescriptionBrightMatch Staffing connects dependable, motivated talent with top apartment communities across the Tampa Bay area.
