Role Description Decatur County Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated full-time, on-site Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to join our healthcare team in Greensburg, IN. The OB-GYN will provide comprehensive care to women, including routine gynecological exams, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, and treatment for reproductive health issues. Responsibilities will also include performing office-based procedures, laparoscopic surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The role involves participation in patient education, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to the highest standards of medical care. Qualifications Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and GynecologyExpertise in prenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecological proceduresProficiency in diagnostic and treatment planning, including routine exams, ultrasounds, and lab testsAbility to perform surgeries such as C-sections and minimally invasive proceduresStrong interpersonal and communication skills for building patient relationships and collaborating with the medical teamCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in OB-GYN practicesAdherence to clinical best practices, ethical standards, and patient privacy protocolsLicensed or eligible for medical licensure in IndianaExperience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred but not required for the right candidate
