Construction Materials Tester

Position: Construction Field TechnicianLocation: Wheat Ridge, CO (80212)Pay: $23-$26+/hour DOE (more certifications = more pay!)Summary: Perform on-site testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials to ensure construction projects meet safety standards, specifications, and quality requirementsResponsibilities:Conduct on-site testing of construction materials such as soil, asphalt, and concrete.Check that work aligns with project drawings, codes, and specifications.Document test results and site activities accurately each day.Adhere to safety practices and established procedures while in the field.Take on other tasks as directed by supervisors.Travel to and from project sites using a company or personal vehicle.Requirements:3-5 years of experienceField or Lab experienceValid driver’s licenseCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying outdoor environments.Must be able to pass a drug test.Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in soils, asphalt, or concrete testing (ACI, WAQTC, NukGuage, etc.).Prior hands-on experience with construction materials testing.Strong written skills for clear and consistent reporting.Demonstrated focus on safety and dependability.
