Community Medical Clinic (Primary Care) Job Title: Medical Assistant- Certified Status: Non- exempt; Full- time Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Description: The Community Medical Clinic is seeking a highly qualified medical assistant to join our team This position assists in the examination of patients under the direction of a physician and/or an advanced practice provider. The successful candidate will be rooming patients, measuring vital signs, and inputting information in the patient’s medical record. This role may perform other duties such as preparing and stocking patient rooms, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Current State of Illinois Medical Assistant certification BLS certification or willing to obtain Experience with documenting in an electronic health record preferred Enjoys and supports working with a team to provide quality care to our patients and a respectful work environment for all employees Come join our team at Pana Community Hospital!
