Medical Assistant
Gauld Health is a multispecialty clinic looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service/patient care skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multi-task and work well with others. Full-Time Medical Assistants perform back office duties and assist in office procedures. At least one year experience working as a medical assistant in a medical facility preferred. Candidate must possess the following skills and traits to be considered for this position:

Proficient in assisting with patient care

Proficient with giving test results to the patient
Willing to assist in marketing events or market the area
EMR skills is a plus
Proficient in sending electronic prescriptions as well as calling them into the pharmacy is a plus
Familiar with Sterile Technique is a plus
Responsibilities and Duties: (included but not limited to)
Manage Inventory
Order supplies
Stock rooms at all times
Assist Providers in procedures: Sclerotherapy, Radiofrequency Ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena, laser, and xray.
Data entry EMR/ Scribe
Clean and Turnover rooms in a timely manor
Perform sterile technique * Will be taught
Handle sharps appropriately according to OSHA regulations
Room Patients
Obtain vitals: Manual BP, Temperature, Weight, Height, and Pulse
Provide wound care management
Assist front office with phones and patient concerns, have the ability to cross train to help when needed
Provide excellent patient care
Answer patient questions about venous disease
Phone triage
Prescription prior authorization

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
