Responsible for safely and effectively performing all duties described below according to injection molding schedule, company’s policies, and process procedures.DutiesEnsure process control and maintain appropriate documentationEnsure and assist in establishing processes for new molds, document process development and changes, evaluating new tool performance.Ensure and assist the design and build of EOAT for new and/or transferring tools.Ensure a clean and safe work environment is maintained.Provide technical guidance to process engineers, technicians, and tool setters.Engage in Continuous Improvement efforts, including the 5s, 5Whys, and 8-D documentation.Ensure and assist Injection molding PFMEAs’ analysis, updates, and revisions.Ensure the monitoring of Mold change times, daily checklist, job set-up sheet, and process documentation, against standards and objectives.Ensure and assist in training team members on process step/requirements. This includes paperwork, training sheets, skill matrix maintenance and other job-related training.Ensure Injection Molding Machines’ process books are updated and maintained.Perform other duties as assigned.Education And RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering or minimum 5 years’ experience in related field required.Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.Problem solving, organizational skills, PC knowledge.Ability to work with minimum to no supervision, delf-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and strong initiative.Ability to communicate and effectively lead groups of people as required.Good written and verbal communications skills.Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.Ability to follow safe work procedures and wear personal protective equipment at all times as required.Must be certified to operate a crane/hoist.Must pass background check and drug screen.Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manualsTreat all with respect and professionalismMotivate team membersAbility to MultitaskLead by example (work with team members)Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely and be able to stand for long periods of timeAbility to troubleshoot and explain given problem to designated departmentWhat We OfferOpportunity to impact a high-demand, fast-paced automotive environment.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional growth and development opportunities within a supportive team culture.About UsWe are a leading tier 1 third-party supplier committed to delivering top-quality automotive components.
