This is not a traditional HR Manager position. We're looking for someone who wants to build, improve, and lead. You'll play a key role in shaping our HR department, creating scalable processes, partnering with leadership, and helping establish the foundation for our continued growth.
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR operations for a growing company with multiple departments and evolving workforce needs. This role is ideal for someone who can balance high-level HR leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
The HR Manager will be responsible for building and managing HR systems, ensuring compliance, improving the employee experience, supporting leadership, and creating scalable processes that support the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all Human Resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Manage hiring processes from recruiting through onboarding
Oversee employee files, documentation, and HR compliance requirements
Support leadership with coaching, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and workforce planning
Create and improve training programs, employee development initiatives, and internal communication processes
Manage workers' compensation, auto and unemployment claims, and leave administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist in building company culture, retention initiatives, and employee engagement strategies
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters
Help create scalable systems and workflows as the company continues to grow
Qualifications
5+ years of Human Resources experience required
Previous HR leadership or management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance (multi-state)
Experience managing multiple priorities and departments simultaneously
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Experience with recruiting and onboarding platforms, HRIS systems, and process development preferred
