In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate client business processes and policies; advise on tax policy changes to meet market needs and develop proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address tax issues relevant to the client's business.Provide technical and project management leadership to team members for domestic tax projects or assignments, ensuring quality control standards.Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations and reviewing corporate, trust and estate tax returns.Build positive working relationships with clients and provide effective support for engagements.Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.Success FactorsYou will understand the industries BDO services and contribute to the group's advancement.You will ensure work is complete, accurate and appropriately reviewed by maintaining necessary technical knowledge and professional development.You will recommend and implement quality or efficiency improvements to our engagements.You will actively engage in communication with people leaders to ensure understanding of performance and development, while identifying and attracting top talent.You will support the firm's revenue growth by referring clients to other service lines and attracting new clients to BDO.QualificationsYou have completed the CPA designation and the In-Depth Tax Program and/or a Master's in Tax.You have 7 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax and a minimum of 3 years in tax.You have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance.You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.You display strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.CompensationThe expected range of compensation for this role is $125,000 – $175,000 annually.EEO StatementIf you require accommodation to complete the application process, please contact us.J-18808-Ljbffr
