Job Description: As a Salesforce Backend Developer you will work with minimal guidance, analyzing business requests, system issues, and optimize opportunities to develop and deliver technical specifications and solutions.We are looking for aKey Responsibilities: Uses SFCC Script and other related development technologies, performs various tasks, such as design, development and testing of SFCC REST APIs, DW Pipelet, 3rd Party integrations and other back-end services.Integrates with Frontend web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and associated frameworks.Performs all administrative options/tasks/interfaces available in Business Manager.Works with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for price and inventory on projects.Expertly performs design and development of third party (backend) integrations like Address/Shipping/Tax validation, Payment authorization, CRM, OMS.Understands the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.Supports the maintenance and technical configuration of the eCommerce environment.Partners with the business, vendors, and other IT team members for troubleshooting and performing enhancements/upgrades.Works closely with business partners on providing a POV on technical and process recommendations and solutions.Participates in cross-functional efforts to build out web application platforms.Works with technical teams to devise or modify procedures/processes to solve complex problems.Utilizes functional knowledge of the B2C and B2B processes.Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar degrees3-5 years’ experience in implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions with a strong focus on back-end development.At least 3 years of Java or JavaScript experience. Possess good understanding of object oriented programming, relational databases.At least 2 years working with XML data import and export activities.Experienced in B2B, B2C, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of SFCC eCommerce applications.Proficient in SFCC backend Jobs and Service frameworkExpert in the integration of SFCC with other backend systems (SFDC, SFMC, Payment Gateways, SAP, etc.).Expertise in developing backend API’s (B2CC, OCAPI and REST)Expertise in server side scripting.Working experience in REST/SOAP web services and tools like Postman.Expertise in Source Control (GitHub)Expertise in Unit Test and Integration Development.Solid understanding of Business Manager and job configuration.Knowledgeable in source control and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Experience working on Agile development teams, preferably using SCRUM.Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative.Self-driven, motivated, and result-oriented.Strong organizational skills to manage a varied workload and respond to business needs.Understands and contributes to efficient coding standards.Good debugging and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to influence and consult on key technical decisions during project delivery, providing options with pros, cons, and risks.Nice to Haves: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification preferred.Working knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL/SOSL).Full stack preferred.
