Barista
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a friendly and skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve coffee drinks, tea, and other beverages to customers. - Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads. - Operate the Aloha POS system to take orders and manage transactions. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food handling and safety standards. - Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain a smooth service flow. - Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns. - Meet sales targets by upselling and suggesting relevant products. - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. - Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services. - Provide assistance to coworkers as needed, including helping with food preparation and serving. **Requirements:** - Experience in food preparation and service. - Proficiency in using the Aloha POS system. - Strong knowledge of coffee and food items. - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. - Basic sales skills and the ability to upsell. - Strong cash handling skills. - Knowledge of food handling and safety practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide help to coworkers as needed.
