Lead Awning Installer

Lead Installer We have been Portland's premier awning provider since 1954, and we are growing. We are looking for an installation leader with an extensive construction background. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest level of service possible. Job description: Lead our installation team and successfully install awnings, industrial curtains, and screen enclosures that "Wow" our customers. Take charge and design a plan to implement the best practices for our installation team. Effectively troubleshoot problems or issues that come up during the installation process. Document and execute changes that need to be made for construction. Perform work in a safe manner and implement, document and execute OSHA standards and compliance. Focus on producing quality work for the customer. Manage time effectively to ensure installation deadlines are met, coordinate with Sales and Factory. Keep tools, shops, equipment and vehicles well organized. Competencies: Experienced using hand tools (tape measure, level, hammer drill, etc.) Able to lift heavy objects (while on a ladder). Comfortable working on ladders and with heights. Be a team player with a positive attitude and lead by example Be proactive and do not wait to be told what to do next. Quick learner. Effective problem-solving skills. Cultural Fit: Love working with people. Team player. Desire to improve how the work gets done. Willing to go above and beyond for the customer. Qualifications Clean driving record and current driver’s license 3 Year Construction or Landscape or similar qualifications. Fluent English speaker. Principals only.
