Construction Superintendent
Job Title: Construction SuperintendentLocation: Denver, COSalary Range: $110,000-$125,000 (depending on experience)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage all on‑site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, and field crews to deliver high‑quality projects that meet schedule, budget, and safety expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all on‑site construction activities to support project schedules and requirementsEnsure jobsite safety for employees, subcontractors, and visitors while enforcing company safety policiesPlan, budget, forecast, and manage labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerationsPrepare work plans and oversee development of temporary project facilitiesReview and manage construction plans, specifications, and manufacturer dataReview construction documents for completeness and constructabilityCreate, manage, and update the master project schedule and 2‑week look‑ahead schedulesGenerate and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve document discrepanciesReview submittals for compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and manufacturer requirementsPartner with project teams to implement and maintain quality control programsLead preconstruction planning and conduct on‑site meetings with subcontractors and trade leadsManage subcontractors and oversee all work performed on‑siteLeadership & Team ManagementSupervise and mentor field personnelManage foremen and ensure crews have the resources and information needed to work efficientlyConduct performance evaluations for field staffPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementAdditional ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and visitorsOversee site logistics and coordinationAssist with business development, bidding, and proposal effortsProvide feedback to improve processes, procedures, and operational efficiencyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred10+ years of construction experience5+ years in a leadership or supervisory roleProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management softwareAbility to read and interpret construction plans and blueprintsStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsProven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environmentsAbility to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAdditional RequirementsValid Colorado driver’s license with insurable driving recordWillingness to travel and work on projects outside the Denver Metro area, including mountainous regions, for varying durationsBenefitsHealth insurancePTOCompany Vehicle
