Administration of Human Resource ProgramsColleges, Universities, and Professional SchoolsPrivate HouseholdsInvestigation and Security ServicesFacilities Support ServicesAs a Security Officer, you'll monitor numerous properties to provide safety and security to Sentry associates, visitors, and assets.You'll analyze and appropriately respond to emergency situations and operate as first responder for all security, safety, and medical incidents within the building and provide immediate medical support during incidents requiring certain immediate medical attention. You'll also investigate any suspicious or unusual occurrences on Sentry property and ensure necessary reporting and follow up actions take place. You'll also administer the access control system ensuring individuals have the ability to enter appropriate areas. You'll assist with Executive Protection when requested by senior staff members or management.We are currently looking for a Security Officer to assist our 2nd shift team from 2:30pm-10:30pm.What You'll DoAs a Security Officer, you will:Patrol and monitor interior and exterior of numerous premises to prevent and detect any risks to Sentry associates and property. Analyze and respond appropriately to emergency situationsEscalate risks appropriately based on the severityProvide advanced administration of Sentry's access control system for all associates, contractors, and visitors to maintain a safe and secure environmentComplete incident reports on any irregularities, such as equipment and property damage, safety and health issues, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, and any other unusual occurrencesAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysWhat It TakesHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certificationExcellent driving recordAbility to react quickly and remain calm in sensitive situationsExcellent communication, observation and customer service skillsWhat You'll ReceiveAt Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
