We are seeking an experienced Pathologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in Hawaii, starting May 11, 2026. The incoming physician will work on-site, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call or weekend responsibilities. Your duties will involve performing frozen sections, signing out surgical pathology, non-gynecological cytology, and peripheral smears, and conducting autopsies while collaborating with clinical laboratory personnel. Responsibilities and Duties Perform frozen sections. Sign out surgical pathology, non-gynecological cytology, and peripheral smears. Perform autopsies. Collaborate with clinical laboratory personnel to ensure high-quality laboratory services using best practices in laboratory medicine. Support laboratory and hospital quality improvement and accreditation initiatives. Provide consultations to clinicians. Additional Information Board certified in AP/CP. Strong surgical pathology and cytopathology skills. Clinical lab experience OR experience as a Medical Director of a lab section. Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-residency experience preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills for frequent interaction with physicians, hospital administration, and laboratory staff. MD or DO degree. Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Hawaii. Epic EMR system utilized.
