Mainframe Developer/Programmer

W2 Contract Must to have: 1) Proficient in Mainframe - COBOL application development; CICS application programming; Mainframe Z/OS Connect & JCL; Strong exposure to VSAM. 2) Proficient in Easytrieve/Eztrieve, File Manager, MQueue and/or zOS Connect tools 3) Programming experience with the APB (batch), APC (online), APA (batch and online) and RPI (reporting) modules 4) Experience with the Systematics Database Management System working with major files (DSTs), DAGs and elements. 5) Hands on experience with Advanced Loan Systems with GN architecture Good to have: 1) Experience with CA-7 job scheduler and version control tools like Endevor and ChangeMan 2) Prior experience in Mainframe modernization 3) Exposure to tools like IDz & Topaz 4) Exposure to Mainframe Devops Other Skills: SDLC Agile methodology; NEXUS; Quality Center; JIRA; Maximo; Sharepoint Soft Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, team-player – strong capability and effectiveness working on teams, with senior team members and consulting partners; deliver design documentation Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: Dallas, TX 75051: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dallas, TX 75051
