Provides educational programs to the families. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists in the maintenance of and management of equipment and supplies for day-to-day operations. Provides age-appropriate care for a specific population including newborns, children, adolescents, and adults.QualificationsRequired:Clinical Doctorate of AudiologyMinimum 1 year of experience PreferredPediatric experience and Outpatient physician office experience is a plusCertifications And Licenses RequiredNJ Audiology License or Temporary LicenseCertificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association or approved plan for Clinical FellowshipNJ Hearing Aid License to be completed within 2 years of hireBLS Certification approved by the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - FridayFull-TimeEssential FunctionsExperienced in providing education and instruction to familiesProficiency in billing and coding in compliance with medical standardsThe individual will work with ENT conducting complete audiologist evaluations, VRA, OAE, VRA, tympanometryOther duties as assignedOther Things To KnowThis job description outlines the core responsibilities of the role, but it’s not meant to cover every task you may take on.
