Business Operations Intern410 Medical, based in Durham, NC, is developing and distributing innovative products that help improve resuscitation of critically ill patients. 410's products are designed to enable clinicians to more effectively and efficiently respond to patients with septic shock, hemorrhagic shock and other conditions that require controlled, rapid volume resuscitation.Position Summary:The Business Operations Intern will join the 410 Medical team in our Research Triangle Park location and will support the sales team. This internship is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 partial days in-office per week. During the summer (mid-May through mid-August), the position will require approximately 20-25 hours per week. At the conclusion of the summer internship, the position may be extended into the academic year at 10-12 hours per week.Responsibilities:Design and deploy surveys to assess sales team members' current needs around CRM reporting, training, and other supportWork with sales team stakeholders to develop CRM reporting assets and train team members on their useAssist with CRM record entry, organization, and maintenanceReview medical journals, publications, and other online resources for relevant, high-value leads to enhance target audienceOther commercial support activities as neededQualifications:Pursuing course work toward a Bachelor's Degree, rising sophomore or junior preferredSelf-motivated, proactive, and accountable work style with a strong drive for successDemonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members, vendors, and customersInterest in or familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)Experience with Microsoft Office and Google SuiteBenefits:Opportunity to build resume through demonstrated work experience in sales operations, biotechnology/medical device field, and high-contribution startup environment.Summer internship position (20-25 hours per week) with competitive compensationSummer internship will be a combination of in-person work in the Research Triangle Park Office (2 days/week +) and remote workPotential for ongoing 10-hr (+) per week position during the school year with 5+ hours in-person work in Research Triangle Park Office410 Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
