Book Tower and Method Hospitality are looking for passionate Server Assistants to join our team at Le Suprême, located on the corner of Washington Blvd and Grand River in the historic Book Tower. Le Suprême, offers all-day French fare in the brasserie's elegant dining room, alfresco, in the restaurant's bar or within its private dining room. Enter off Washington Boulevard or through The Rotunda to indulge in a menu comprised of Parisian specialties as well as fresh pastries, breads and desserts from the adjoining patisserie and boulangerie. Le Suprême's full-service bar will also offer a curated cocktail program and a selection of over 300 world-class wines and champagne.Server Assistant Job Responsibilities:Adhere to established service standards and protocolsMaintain a clean, organized server assistant area, and ensure supplies are stocked before, during, and after shift. If you take the last of anything, inform a manager if it needs to be ordered, or replenish it if it is within the restaurantMaintain a clean, organized dining room and bar area during service.Pre-bus tables throughout our guests dining experience.Clear and reset tables after guests have left.Assist hosts by keeping track of which tables are clean, dirty, or occupied.Assist servers and bartenders by running food, refilling guests drinks, and helping with other tasks throughout the shift.Follow proper "manners" protocol when interacting with any guestStrong, upbeat and positive personalityCommitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detailPassion for food, beverage and hospitalityAbility to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environmentTeam and family-oriented mentalityDependabilityAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry items when needed with a maximum weight of 50lbsExperience:Strong ability to communicate effectively with guests and team membersAbility to help create a positive dining experience for guestsWorking Conditions/EnvironmentThe person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight to 10 (8 to 10) hours per day.Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an Employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of the position.
