This position will also ensure permit revocation efficiencies and provide prompt customer responses. This position will also perform, in a timely manner, all assigned inspections and sampling, investigations, complaint/referral responses, computer data reviews, outreach (via compliance assistance and education), and enforcement case development and management. Additional duties included conducting compliance evaluation and assistance inspections, preparing reports, managing enforcement cases, responding to complaints and incident notifications, performing sampling and data review for assigned facilities, conducting database and NJEMS/PEGA ‘To-Do’ list reviews, performing special assignments, and performing self-initiated investigations. RequirementsEducation: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography; or in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering.NOTE: All U.S. degrees and transcripts must be from an accredited college or university. All foreign degrees and transcripts must be evaluated for accreditation by a recognized evaluation service by the closing date of this posting.
