Job Description Multi-discipline engineering firm in business for decades is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer for their Windsor office!Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.Responsibilities:Lead the growth and development of the Civil Engineering DepartmentBuild/maintain relationships with municipal clientsSupport/develop various projects (education, energy, water/wastewater, public agencies, real estate)Collaborate with other teams and departments to develop new businessPursue/deliver business in the real estate market and disciplineProvide technical direction/oversight on projectsDevelop the scope of work, budgets, schedules, and plans for civil projectsManage municipal civil projectsCoordinate resource needs for municipal civil engineering project successResponsible for projects successful financial successParticipate in trade shows and be active in industry/relevant associationsPrepare/coordinate proposalsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering12+ years of managerial-level, civil site engineering, land development, and project management for mid to large-scale projectsBusiness development experiencePE LicenseKnowledge of seller/doer business model with public sector clientsStormwater management and local municipal infrastructure design experienceExtensive knowledge of municipal regulations/requirements that impact land development entitlements and permitting for Connecticut state, county and local municipalitiesManagement/supervisory skillsKnowledge of MS suite including Word, Excel, Power PointSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. xaygatp Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!
