Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Python Engineer - API DevelopmentLocation: Plano, TXWork Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or GC EAD preferredLocals highly preferredNo C2C, 1099, or third-party profiles accepted.We are seeking a Sr. Python Engineer with strong expertise in Python, API development, and AWS cloud-native technologies to design, build, and operate highly scalable and reliable backend services.Required SkillsStronghands-on experience with Python backend development.Experiencedesigning and developing REST APIs and microservices.StrongAWS experience with several of the following:AWSLambdaAPIGatewayECS/FargateEKS/KubernetesS3EventBridgeSQS/SNSRDS/AuroraDynamoDBElastiCache/RedisExperiencewith Docker and containerized application deployment.Experiencewith Terraform and/or CloudFormation.Experiencedeveloping and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strongunderstanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC, and cloud security.Experiencewith application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.Experiencewith automated testing and software quality practices.Strongunderstanding of Git, code reviews, Agile development, and productionsupport.Strongcommunication and technical problem-solving skills.
