RN Registered Nurse Inpatient - Adult Intensive Care Unit
Penn State Health Shared Services Location: US:PA:Hershey Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: DaysHours: 8:00a - 4:30p JOB SUMMARY: R esponsible to maintain and modify the operating environment and moderately complex software applications. Assist with the design, testing, debugging and documentation of applications dealing with the overall operating system. Work independently on most aspects of enterprise-wide systems technology. Work under the guidance of more senior Systems Engineers in advanced infrastructure or enterprise systems. Lead projects that have a limited operational impact on the overall enterprise. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.Adheres to and exhibits our organizational core values as outlined by Penn State Health. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Using enterprise imaging tools.C reate and maintain standard images in for supported operating systems and hardware platforms.Create job aids for technicians to use to deploy images in a standard way.Test and create ad-hoc jobs to deploy software to subsets of devices.Collaborate with other business units to deploy software fixes and updates.Test and release monthly security patches Assist with the management of systems and applications used to build, deploy, and update desktop operating systems and software.Participate with senior Information Services staff in project planning for new application rollouts, evaluations, testing, and special projects related to desktop software/hardware and support systems.C reate documentation of best practices and standard operating procedures related to the administration and support of desktop operating systems, hardware platforms, and software.Provide support for issues escalated from Desktop Support Analysts.Assist with training and mentoring Desktop Support Analysts.Troubleshoot problems using various software tools, getting to the root cause to facilitate solving the problem.Communicate outages and issues to senior management and business units, provide cause and resolution once issues have been resolved.Enterprise management of Apple-based products (iOS and MacOS).Experience developing and supporting virtual desktops.Experience managing desktops in an Active Directory environment, specifically testing and development of group policies.Writing and interpreting various scripting languages.This job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
