Aviation Lending Product Manager
Piper Companies is seeking an Aviation Lending Product Manager to support a premier financial institution launching a new Aviation Lending product offering for its nationwide member base. The Aviation Lending Product Manager will lead the establishment, operational rollout, and long-term execution of the aviation lending program while partnering with internal consumer banking teams and external servicing/origination partners. This is a highly visible initiative backed by executive leadership and offers the opportunity to help shape a new lending vertical within a growing consumer banking organization. This position will be hybrid in McLean, VA, with flexibility for highly qualified remote candidates willing to travel periodically to McLean, VA.Responsibilities of the Aviation Lending Product Manager include:Lead the end-to-end rollout and operational establishment of a new Aviation Lending product offeringPartner with internal lending, servicing, compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to operationalize the lending platformCoordinate with third-party origination and servicing partners to ensure successful product implementation and deliveryDevelop and manage product roadmaps, operational workflows, servicing models, and process documentationOversee project timelines, deliverables, testing, issue resolution, and operational readiness activitiesCollaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align product strategy and executionEvaluate and improve lending workflows, member experience, and operational efficienciesSupport vendor management, product governance, and risk mitigation effortsEnsure lending processes align with financial services regulations, compliance standards, and operational controlsAssist with reporting, KPI tracking, portfolio performance analysis, and ongoing product optimizationServe as a techno-functional liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external partnersContribute to future enhancements and expansion opportunities across the lending portfolioQualifications for the Aviation Lending Product Manager include:5+ years of experience in consumer lending product management, project management, or lending operationsExperience supporting lending products such as aviation lending, boat lending, RV lending, small business lending, or specialty lending productsStrong understanding of lending operations, servicing workflows, and financial services environmentsExperience managing cross-functional product or operational initiatives from concept through executionStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in highly visible, fast-paced environments with executive-level exposureExperience coordinating with third-party vendors, servicing organizations, or external partnersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical delivery-focused mindsetBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferredPreferred Qualifications for the Aviation Lending Product Manager include:Direct experience supporting aviation lending products or aviation finance programsExperience within consumer banking, credit unions, or financial institutionsFamiliarity with lending technology platforms, servicing systems, or digital lending ecosystemsExperience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environmentsProduct Owner, PMP, or related project/product certificationsCompensation for the Aviation Lending Product Manager includes:Salary Range: $170,000 - $220,000 depending on experienceComprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, 401(k), and potential long-term conversion opportunitiesThis job opens for applications on 5/18/2026.
