Job Description:
Payroll Services and Implementation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing payroll operations, implementing, and maintaining payroll policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and tax laws. You will play a key role in payroll system implementation and upgrades, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure successful project execution. This role will also include the onboarding of new clients, ensuring all previous data is captured, imported, and reviewed prior to the onboarding.
Job Duties:
Manage end to end payroll processing for multi-state clients, overseeing various pay cycles.
Ensuring the accuracy of employee data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and other relevant information needed for payroll calculations.
Staying informed about local, state, and federal payroll laws and regulations to ensure that payroll processes are following legal requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, tax withholdings, and other relevant data.
Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate configuration of employee benefits, child supports, and garnishments (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, optional deductions).
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and other departments in a timely manner to resolve payroll- related issues, discrepancies, or inquires.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of clients' industry, focusing on proper customer setup for accurate invoice distribution.
Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Ensure you have a strong gasp of the team's payroll's, enabling you to offer support and further training when needed. This will help facilitate smooth team operations.
Overseeing payroll system implementations or upgrades, including testing and training.
Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to payroll processing and implementation.
Facilitating the smooth onboarding process for new clients to guarantee the capture of previous data and ensure the accuracy of the information provided.
Ensuring successful integration and development for both clients and staff members.
Responsible for submitting and monitoring direct deposit reversals, executing stop payments, and prompt upload of voided checks to the bank.
Reconciliation and management of the pay card account with our vendor.
Work closely with the accounting team to reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Several years of experience in payroll processing, with demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with payroll software and systems and Microsoft excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
High Level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Team player who is detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
