Full TimeCrane & Rigging Project EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CAPosition Summary:Seeking a Crane & Rigging Project Engineer to design, quote, and manage complex crane, rigging, heavy-lift, and heavy-transport projects.The engineer will work closely with industry professionals, customers, subcontractors, and field crews to develop safe and practical engineering solutions and support projects from planning through field execution.Key Responsibilities:• Develop operational solutions for heavy-lift and heavy-haul projects.• Create engineering plans and fabrication drawings.• Support and provide field supervision for crane, rigging, and heavy-transport projects.• Act as the primary customer interface for engineering projects.• Work with customers, subcontractors, field crews, and internal teams to develop project solutions.• Design and support complex crane, rigging, and heavy-transport operations.• Assist with project estimating, quoting, planning, and execution.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.• EIT or PE certification required• AutoCAD experience.• Valid California Driver's License.• Clean driving record.• Strong communication and project coordination skills.Preferred Experience:• Crane and rigging engineering.• Heavy-lift projects.• Heavy-haul or heavy-transport projects.• Lift planning and rigging plans.• Crane/load calculations.• Engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.• Field supervision.• Customer and subcontractor coordination.• Project estimating and quoting.
