Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in North Carolina is required to start the assignment. Proof of current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required. Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance are required. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably with geriatric or home health populations. Ability to perform physical demands of the role including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing, and walking. Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Must maintain confidentiality and meet mandatory continuing education requirements.
