IT Technology Solutions Intern

FHLBank Pittsburgh offers 12-week paid internships as a part of its talent acquisition strategy. Talented students are provided with the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience, explore their career interests and broaden their professional network while helping FHLBank Pittsburgh achieve its business objectives and strategic goals. The program is designed to offer a substantive experience by exposing talented students to the banking industry and our culture of development through clearly defined responsibilities and/or projects.To promote collaboration and relationship building, FHLBank Pittsburgh operates in a hybrid model with employees in the office three days per week and remote two days per week.The IT Technology Solutions Intern will:Leverage cutting edge technology and next generation tools to enhance technology functions and efficiencies.Identify and network with seasoned technology representatives and peers, participate in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreachResearch on different technologies & methodologies to recommend the optimal solutions to the problemServe as a project team member for the Modern Collaboration Project, this project includes SharePoint online migrations, Teams channel creations, Viva Engage rollout, and supporting the bank's adoption of these tools.Identify a process for the Workplace Technology Solutions team that could be improved or automated using AI, such as Copilot with Power Suite or Azure AI. Design and implement the solution.Work alongside Workplace Technology Engineers to support Keep the Lights On (KLO) activities, such as Windows 25H2 upgrades, Application packaging, & Vulnerability management activities.Required ExperienceStudents must be enrolled in an accredited four-year institution and have completed at least their sophomore year with a minimum GPA of 3.0Students must be pursuing a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content) and have the ability to work, at a minimum, May/June through August of the internship yearStrong academic backgroundGreat attitude and desire for learningExcellent problem solving, written and oral communication skillsDisciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaborationSmart and driven individual who is passionate about learning new technologiesIt is the policy of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to ensure equal employment opportunity (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, veteran's status, ancestry, sexual orientation or status as a parent as defined by applicable law.
