You'll also enjoy a generous paid time off package that includes not only vacation and sick time, but also Wellness and Volunteer Time Off days.Working with the supervision of the Receiving Supervisor, the Receiver efficiently and accurately sorts, verifies and records the correct quantity of inbound product according to company policies and department procedures. The Receiver properly identifies any inbound product that qualifies as Hazardous Materials, as well as establishing other item profile characteristics including the assignment of the appropriate UPC, product dimensions and serial number mask for every product coming into our inventory for the first time. The Receiver works closely with the Product Management team to resolve receiving problems or changes to the product or purchase orders. This position works Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm with overtime as needed.Where applicable, this position assures departmental processes are performed in compliance with applicable Sarbanes-Oxley controls.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Job DutiesEfficiently and accurately sorts, verifies and records the correct quantity of inbound product according to company policies and department proceduresSelects the correct PO for inbound productsRecords the correct quantity to be receivedPrints and applies UPC's as requiredMeets Receiving deadlinesSeparates the inbound freight by PO, Product Part Number and stage for receiving process.Identifies all items that fall into the Hazardous Materials category and correctly records the HAZ/COM definition into our operating system.Enters all receiving problems into the established database and works with the Product Management team to get resolution in a timely manner.Removes all packing materials from the cartons of inbound freight prior to receipt of product, place materials into appropriate recycling containers.Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.MinUSD $17.98/Hr.MaxUSD $21.76/Hr.QualificationsRequired competencies: Basic computer knowledge with ability to operate keyboard for data entry.Proficient with in house computer applications, Radio Frequency and Scanning equipment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create a document or simple spreadsheet. Attention to detail in processing, keying, and handling inbound product Basic math aptitude Working knowledge of shipping and receiving practices Working knowledge of hazardous materials identification Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to take on additional tasks.
