Accounting Manager
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management:Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including assigning tasks, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development.Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.Process Payroll.Financial ReportingOversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.Compliance And AuditEnsure adherence to all local, state, and federal financial regulations.Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Operational EfficiencyReview and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.CollaborationPartner with other departments to ensure financial data supports business objectives.Provide financial insights to senior management to assist in strategic decision-making.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.CPA or CMA designation preferred.Experience5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.Experience in [specific industry, if applicable] is a plus.SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.#INDHC
