Store Manager
Role Overview: The Store Manager is responsible for leading all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, sales, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees to ensure effective team performance and compliance with legal and company policies.
Open and close the store, manage daily operations, and ensure proper staffing and safety procedures.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
Oversee merchandise presentation, inventory levels, and ordering to meet stock and sales targets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment, ensuring adherence to safety and security policies.
Provide excellent customer service leadership and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with policies, complete documentation accurately, and manage cash handling and security controls.
Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with potential bilingual (Spanish) preference.
Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and operate cash registers and reporting systems.
Physical & Working Conditions Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds; occasional climbing and outdoor exposure; fast-paced environment requiring adaptability.
