This role involves significant driving as the office serves a large area in Michigan. The position is remote but requires the inspector to work closely with contractors.Responsibilities • Perform welding inspections in accordance with ASTM and AWS standards. • Conduct UT shearwave testing on structural steel components. • Travel extensively to sites across Michigan and maintain on-time reporting.Qualifications & RequirementsCertified Welding Inspector (CWI) – minimum certification required.Proficiency with AWS D1.1 and ICC bolt/frame certifications preferred.Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.Background check clearance; TWIC clearance preferred for government work.Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Word and Excel.Self‑motivated, able to work independently while collaborating with contractors.Company Information We are a signature company, local 112 Operating Engineers out of Anderson, Indiana, operating 100% as an inspector local.#J-18808-Ljbffr
