This role involves assessing infrastructure requirements, defining best practices, guiding BI Engineers, enabling security, handling large data, and ensuring scalable, high-performing BI solutions that align with business needs.Key Requirements:Design scalable BI solutions with a focus on infrastructure, capacity, and licensing needsConduct capability assessments to align Power BI adoption with enterprise goalsDefine and enforce Power BI governance frameworks, including security, data access, and workspace strategyProvide effort estimations and delivery planning for BI initiativesEstablish and manage a central metric store for standardized KPIs and calculationsOversee data refresh automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting at scaleGuide and mentor BI Engineers on best practices in DAX, modeling, performance optimization, and visualization standardsQualifications & Skills:Proven experience in designing scalable Power BI solutionsExpertise in DAX, Power Query (M), Tabular Models, and large semantic/OLAP modelsSkilled in refresh automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting large modelsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skillsCreate clear, interactive dashboards that make data easy for stakeholders to understandTroubleshoot and speed up slow reports by optimizing measures and data structuresManage report security, including Row-Level Security (RLS), to protect sensitive infoWork closely with business teams to turn their questions into helpful visual reportsBenefitsSignificant career development opportunities exist as the company grows.
