Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN

Job Overview We have an opportunity for a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Outpatient Clinic team. Responsibilities The LPN is accountable for providing care for pediatric patients. Works as an advocate for patients and families in a collaborative effort with the multidisciplinary team. Works to achieve quality outcomes using a family centered care philosophy. Demonstrates flexibility in working hours in order to meet patient care requirements. Communicates in a positive and proactive manner at all times including, but not limited to, telephone interactions and gives concise report when leaving work area. Documents care provided completely and concisely according to unit guidelines and in compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 requirements. Assists with Telehealth appointments as needed*This is not an all-inclusive list Qualifications Required Certificate in Nursing LPN License in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) At least 1 year of pediatric ortho, burns, and/or rehab Shriners Children's is an EOE/Drug-Free, Smoke-Free Workplace.
