Union Journeyman for HVAC/R Service

Job Summary: The Commercial and Industrial HVAC/R Service Journeyman Technician provides HVAC/R services to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, including repairs, maintenance, inspections, and installations of HVAC/R systems. Do you have five or more years of experience as a commercial/industrial HVAC/R technician? Have you completed a union apprenticeship program and have all the required licenses? Key Responsibilities:Safely perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC/R equipment, including split systems, rooftop units, package systems, water source heat pumps, etc.Diagnose and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillersCollaborate with Journeymen and Apprentice technicians, project managers, and dispatchersDrive to jobsites, using a provided company vehicle, throughout the dayContinuously exhibit professional behaviorPossess the desire for continuous learning Required Education, Skills, and ExperienceCompleted a union Apprentice School or a 5-year combination of Journeyman-level experience.Steady work history with 5+ years in the HVAC/R commercial and industrial service businessEarned EPA Universal License and OSHA 30 CertificationHas a current driver's license and an impeccable driving recordPossess a high school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Preferred Skills & Attributes: Commercial and/or Industrial experienceExcellent communication skillsAbility to lead and motivate team membersSTAR certification Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experienceThree weeks of Paid Time Off + paid holidaysMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance provided with no payroll deductionsCompany 401(k) with matchCompany Vehicle with fuel cardPension + Defined ContributionUse of company tools. Work will typically be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, but can change daily based on customer needs. Standby duties are required for this position. Overtime and irregular hours are frequent. Daily travel to greater Atlanta, GA area service locations is required.
