Program Analyst
Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Program Analyst. Individual will play a role in providing Program Management support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Individual will support all aspects of planning, scheduling, tracking, analyzing, reporting, and coordinating a variety of technical, cost, and schedule performance and administrative support functions related to program management.
Responsibilities
Individual will develop standard procedures, analysis, and report formats to help develop budgets, cost and resource estimates, schedules, plans, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reports for programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Analysis of technical, financial, and schedule program plans and requirements.
Developing strategic plans and integrating implementation schedules.
Monthly analysis and reporting of cost and schedule performance, status, historical trends, and related metrics.
Participating in creating site –specific cost estimates for planning purposes, acquisition activities, and performance tracking.
Assisting program teams in the execution of projects through scheduling, variance analysis, and what-if scenarios. Developing detailed project schedules.
Incorporating data into the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) from a variety of sources including Control Account Plans, Baseline Change Requests, monthly Schedule Updates, Actual Costs, Estimates at Completion (EAC), and Variance Analysis Reports.
Preparing communications plans and presentations.
Generating Funding, Financial, and EVM Status Reports.
Work with internal client staff, other analysts, external contractor support, and management to evaluate current data and process improvements.
Complete project deliverables on time at highest level of quality.
Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Management, Business, Finance or related disciplines.
Knowledge and Skills:
Individual should possess a minimum of 6 years related experience in program management.
Specialized experience should include business/financial operations, scheduling or implementation strategic business initiatives that define/increase organizational effectiveness and efficiencies.
Experience with the FAA in support of strategic plans and program performance analysis.
Proficiency in all standard Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to use information technology to solve business problems.
Strong data analysis, program evaluation and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Excellent presentation skills
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
