This Includes Recognizing And Responding To Potential Hazards And Safeguards Such AsMachine guarding, light curtains, and pinch pointsLockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresSafety Data Sheets (SDS)Proper grounding and use of emergency stops (E‑stops)Fire alarms and site evacuation proceduresMaintaining housekeeping standards and a clean, organized work area is an essential part of this role.Work ScheduleThis position works a rotating shift schedule that changes every 4 weeks.Shift length may be 8‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, depending on production needs.Shift Options Include 12‑Hour Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM8‑Hour Shifts:1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMCandidates must be willing and able to work any and/or all shifts as required.Key Responsibilities Assist with machine setup, startup, operation, and shutdownLearn and operate online support equipment, including:HMI systems (SCADA, Wonderware)Camera systemsThickness gauges and UV lightsViscometers, corona treaters, web cleaners, and edge guidesPerform Make Ready tasks, including:Proper die setupsPump setupsHose makingAssembling feed systemsParts cleaningLearn and follow TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) practicesUnderstand FIFO, material usage, and material charging proceduresPerform basic troubleshooting as requiredFollow applicable quality system procedures and documentationCoordinate material handling in support of productionAssist with accurate time and material accountingParticipate in quality issue resolution and communicationMaintain proficiency in all tasks listed in the employee training recordParticipate in ongoing training, team activities, and continuous improvement efforts Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and writeAbility to perform basic math using a calculatorAbility to read a tape measure accuratelyBasic computer skills (email and electronic documentation)Good hand‑eye coordinationSelf‑motivated with the ability to work with limited supervisionStrong communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team‑based environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shiftAbility and willingness to complete powered industrial vehicle (PIV) training and certification, if requiredEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
