Senior Talent Partner / Technical Recruitment (Top Fund/Trading)
Our client is a high-growth prestigious tech centric financial firm headquartered in NYC currently seeking to add a Talent Partner /Technical Recruiting Lead. This is a perfect opportunity for an established technical recruiting professional who has a proven track record of effectively sourcing and executing on "hard to fill" financial technology reqs. Prior experience placing Technologist; Engineers/Quants/and top tier Data Scientist from a large Financial Firms and/or Big (Tech) Data Firms mandatory.Essential Functions: (Includes but not limited to):Execute and oversee firms growth strategy with regards to human capital management specific to Data Science/Engineers and Quant Research including but not limited to vetting highly skilled talent across various business verticals at the firmProactively building matrix/pipeline of candidates for growth & succession planning.Manage Recruitment process: post ads on recruitment & professional websites; track, schedule and communicate with all applicantsManage strategic direction and execution of Firmwide talent programs that focus on cultivating, engaging and developing future leadersDevelop, implement, and coordinate targeted sourcing strategies to engage with active and passive talentLeverage recruiting data to prepare ongoing recruiting updates for hiring managers.Serve as a trusted partner, advising leadership and employees at all levels on talent matters, including performance, career development, and organizational culture.Oversee new business development efforts across fund, including but not limited to sourcing, vetting and procuring new talent for firmManage and mentor junior members of internal sourcing and recruiting teams.Developed and optimized workflows and processes to meet KPI’s, maximizing the recruitment team’s success and efficiencyCreated standardized technical and behavioral assessments in the screening and interview process to test for certain skills, resulting in more qualified and interested candidates.Develop market intelligence analytics reports of competing firmsDrive use of analytics related to market trends, including industry and benchmarking reports, to inform strategic decisions, workforce planning and promotion criteriaCommunicate news and vital information to Senior StakeholdersDevelop, prepare, and analyze reports with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Manage employee referral process including background checks, orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee engagement.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum 5+ years related Technical Recruiting professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior Tech/Start-up/Quant Trading Strongly Experience preferredKnowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and applicable federal and state laws.Familiar with laws and regulations associated with Industry non-competesEffective oral and written communication skills and ability to listen effectively.Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.Ability to manage priorities and workflow.Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
