Assistant ControllerEstablished Houston General Contractor with $500 million annual revenue seeks capable Assistant Controller for new position focused in project operations.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with strong job cost accounting/percent of completion knowledge. Commercial construction audit experience with a Big 4 or regional firm, and strong analytical and communication skills.Will partner with project managers on budgets, accruals, and internal reviews; help create policies, procedures, and process improvements. Responsible for project level financial reporting, job cost, WIP, forecasting, profitability analysis, schedule of contracts and project billings, and cost and revenue adjustments.Support internal and external audits.
